My dream job

The kind of dream job for me would be to able to work as a musician, it could be in a orchestra, band, chamber music or soloist. I imagine a job where I can be myself and be able to play the music that I like the most. Being able to travel to different countries and share with other artists. For this I need to be very versatile musically and master my instrument as an extension of my body. I think speaking other languages is very important for this purpose.

I do not have a sum of money planned, but if it is enough for me to live on, it's enough. I have been in jobs where the pay is not much but the environment is very good and on the other side I have been in very well paid jobs but I've had bad times.

So, it's relative, I think that money does not reflect anything to the experience.

At this moment I am trying to finish my degree so I can travel outside my country and see what the world has to offer. I think that working for a while on cruise ships would be a good way to introduce myself to the world of music and practice other languages.

In short, I think that place where I can be calm and do what I love is the job of my dreams. I apply this to all areas of my life.

Person that I admire in my field It is really hard to talk about someone that I admire, the closed I feel to admiration would be a musician named Wynton Marsalis. I think he is a great reference for me of what I would like for my career. He is a really good classical musician but also a jazz musician . he mixes the best of both worlds. Wynton Marsalis is a renowned trumpeter, composer and music instructor, is the director of Jazz at Lincoln Center. He has been active in the promoting of classical and jazz music to young audience. Wynton has Won nine Grammy Awards and is the only musician to have won a Grammy in both areas, jazz and classical categories in the same year. Personally , beyond his awards, what I admire is he way of playing. It is hard to find musicians with their great technique, sound and ideas when improvising.
4 - post 2 - The best holidays ever My best holiday was last summer with my friends in an unforgettable adventure in the south of Chile.  It all started when three friends and I, in our happiness for the last day of class, planned our fantastic trip in the national park “Hornopiren”, located in the commune of Cochamo, Región de Los Lagos, south of Chile. This trip was amazing!! The first adventure began when we walked within ten hours, and many things happened along the way.  We walked in the mud for a long time and I remember on occasion the road was endless but in every step I took I observed the imposing beautiful landscape in my path.  When we reached the top my eyes appreciated an unforgettable landscape, the Yates volcano and a beautiful but cold lake. It were beautiful days and my first time in a place so far away from my home in the north of Chile. I saved beautiful moments on this trip and I would love to repeat this adventure ever again.
4                          -Post 5- Changes to my study programme Some changes that I will eventually make for the future of my carrer will be to specialize in new styles of music. My career is focused mainly on the romanrtic classical style, I mean, I am trained and prepared to perform as a classical pianist. This enables me to work in theaters, as a concert musician, ballet, orchestras, chamber music or as a soloist, among other jobs. Now I am focused on being able to finish this degree and then do my mastes's degree specifically in jazz music. Maybe it sounds like I am going to study more music and that is the same things, but they are very different worlds between the jazz musician and the classical musician.  A good thing is that I will not have to learn the piano technique itself, I will have to learn a new language from zero, with similar forms of writing, but with another meaning. I think the most import...
